Welcome to the friendly town of Eunice!!

Eunice has a friendly small town atmosphere, great schools and churches, clear skies, mild winters and a low cost of living. At the present time, we are in a period of sudden growth. The oil field (which is presently our main employer) is in a boom period, due to the price of oil. All companies are in need of employees with unemployment for Lea County running at 0%. Also, the National Enrichment Facility has received their license and will be building a 1.7 billion dollar project five miles out of town. They will employ approximately 250 permanent employees and have up to 1000 construction workers on site in two years. The total project will take seven to ten years to build.

Our schools are top notch with pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The community is very involved with all levels of sports, including softball, little league, football, basketball, volleyball, golf and rodeo. We have won many state championships in all of these. Our 2500 residents welcome you to Eunice and invite you to visit and stay as long as you can.

Main Street between Avenues J & K will be closed starting January 20th, 2009 for approximately 40 days due to constuction.

North bound traffic will be divered one block east to 12th Street.

Southbound traffic will be diverted one block west to 14th Street.

Main Street parking during this time can be accessed off the alleys behind the businesses.

 

 

EUNICE WATER TOWER GETS A FACELIFT
