Eunice City Manager

CURTIS SCHRADER

Prior to his appointment as City Manager of Eunice, Curtis served in the capacity of city management and administration for 23 years in Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas in such communities as Artesia, Cloudcroft, Clovis, Roswell, Marfa, and Alpine.

Curtis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Master's degree in Business Administration all from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. During two summers while going to college to earn his Bachelor's degree, and for several years after, he worked in the San Angelo, Texas area for an oilfield services company.

Texas holds quiet a few family ties for Curtis, being born in Stephenville and raised in Sanderson and his children, Kristin(16) and Christopher(13) are living in El Paso,while his father and stepmother in Vernon and two sisters living in Bellville and Dallas.

His future plans for Eunice in the next 5 to 10 years are to accomplish or complete most, if not all, of the goals and projects in our City Compreshesive Plan, which will provide for improved City services and facilities for all our citizens, more housing opportunities and more retail and commercial businesses for our citizens.
