Friendly Town of Eunice
Eunice has a friendly small town atmosphere, great schools and churches, clear skies, mild winters and a low cost of living. At the present time, we are in a period of sudden growth. The oil field (which is presently our main employer) is in a boom period, due to the price of oil. All companies are in need of employees with unemployment for Lea County running at 0%.
Also, the National Enrichment Facility has received their license and will be building a 1.7 billion dollar project 5 miles out of town. They will employ approximately 250 permanent employees and have up to 1000 construction workers on site in 2 years. The total project will take 7 to 10 years to build.
Eunice Schools
Our schools are top notch with pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The community is very involved with all levels of sports and have won many state championships in all. These all level sports include:
